The new total is .........

125 pounds lost. Wow, it's been quite a while since I updated my blog. Last time I wrote about my daughter's journey. She is still doing very well but her losses have slowed down now that she is very close to goal.

Now that I have reached 125 I thought I would write again. The last 25 came off a lot slower than the first 100 but it has still been steady. I have been fortunate that I have not hit a plateau.

Last Christmas I wore a size 30-32 or 5X at Penningtons. A couple of weeks ago I bought a Vera Wang dress to wear at this year's Christmas party in a size 16. I have never had a designer dress before. They didn't make them in my size. I make sure I reward myself every time I reach a new goal. That dress is my reward for losing 125.

Quite a few people have been asking me lately how I do it. How I stay on the program all the time. All I can say is that I really want to lose the weight. That's what keeps me going. I don't cut corners. I don't tell myself " It's only one, it won't hurt". I stay on the Weight Watchers program every meal of every day. I have been doing this for 320 days and I know that the only way for me to reach my goal is to do it again tomorrow, the next day and the one after that until I reach my goal. And then I will keep doing it for the rest of my life to keep it off.

I again want to thank my family, co-workers, WW and the friends I've met on the 100+ and 200+ boards for their support. I can not do this without it.

Joanne, congratulations on reaching that great milestone. You have worked really hard and I have been so impressed with your consistency not just in the weight loss but in all that you day by day to reach your goals - starting with exercising every morning and staying within your daily points. You have not wavered and are reaping the rewards for all your hard work. Enjoy it all especially that great Vera Wang dress at your Christmas party! What a great reward! I too would love to see a picture. Don't be shy now! :)
